Cookie Policy

What we set, why, and how you stay in control.

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Mineweb LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Mineweb,” “we,” “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies on mineweb.io. It works together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information generally.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They can keep the site working properly (remembering a choice you made), or help the site owner understand how visitors use the site (analytics) and measure advertising. Similar technologies include localStorage, which we use to remember your consent choice on this site.

2. Cookies we use

The consent record is saved when you click Accept or Decline. When the Google Analytics cookies are set depends on where you are and what you choose. The Meta Pixel cookies are set only after you click Accept, wherever you are (see Section 4).

Meta Pixel
Identifies your browser so Meta can measure visits that come from Facebook and Instagram and, if we advertise there, show ads to people who visited the Site. Advertising. Set only after you click Accept.90 days
_fbc
Meta Pixel
Stores the click ID when you arrive from a link on Facebook or Instagram, so Meta can match that visit. Advertising. Set only after you click Accept.90 days

The durations for Google and Meta cookies are their defaults. Clearing your browser data removes all of these earlier. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may also use cookies on its own domains when the Pixel runs; Meta’s cookie policy covers those. For Google, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Pages with a form also load Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection. It runs on those pages whatever you choose in the banner, because the forms need it. Google may use its own cookies on google.com for it. Google Tag Manager loads only the Google Analytics and Meta Pixel tags and sets no cookies of its own. Apart from the items above, the Site sets no cookies for visitors. Our SEO plugin, Rank Math, sets none.

3. Content from other services

  • YouTube: videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube sets no cookies until you press play. After that, YouTube may store data in your browser, for example to remember player settings.
  • Instagram: a blog article that shows an Instagram post loads it from Instagram (Meta) when you open the article, and Instagram may set its own cookies.
  • Spline: a portfolio page shows an interactive 3D scene loaded from Spline (my.spline.design).

These providers receive your IP address and browser details when their content loads.

4. Your choices

  • Cookie banner: on your first visit, the banner asks you to accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies. In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, and when your browser is set to a European time zone, these cookies stay off until you click Accept. Everywhere else, including the United States, Google Analytics runs from your first page view until you click Decline. The Meta Pixel loads only after you click Accept, wherever you are. Declining does not change how the Site works.
  • Google Consent Mode: we pass your choice to Google tags with Google Consent Mode v2. While consent is denied, Google tags do not set or read analytics or advertising cookies, and they may send Google cookieless signals, for example that a page was loaded. The Meta Pixel does not load while consent is denied.
  • Change your mind: click the Cookie settings button at the top of this page to open the banner again and pick the other option. When you decline, we also delete the Google Analytics and Meta Pixel cookies the Site had already set.
  • Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sharing for advertising, and the Meta Pixel does not load unless you click Accept.
  • Do Not Track: there is no common standard for Do Not Track signals, so the Site does not respond to them. Use the banner or GPC instead.
  • Browser controls: every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies per site or globally. See the cookie help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. Blocking essential storage may affect how the consent banner behaves.
  • Google Analytics opt-out: you can additionally install the GA opt-out browser add-on.

5. Changes to this policy

If we add or change cookies, we’ll update this page and, where the change is material and the law requires it, ask for your consent again through the banner. A material change includes a new tool or a new purpose, and we announce it on this page. Fixes to wording or formatting only update the date and do not bring the banner back. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
