WooCommerce B2B and Wholesale

Retail and wholesale, running on one store.

Standard WooCommerce is built for retail: one price, one customer. B2B selling requires wholesale pricing by customer tier, purchase orders, net payment terms, minimum order quantities, and account managers. We help you configure WooCommerce so your business can handle both.

Our approach

We configure WooCommerce around how your B2B customers actually buy.

The WooCommerce pricing plugin doesn’t handle net terms. The net terms plugin doesn’t handle minimums. Pick the wrong combination and you’re paying a developer next year to make two of them coexist.

So we choose the stack around your customer tiers, your approval workflow, and your payment terms, then configure it as one system instead of five plugins sharing a checkout.

What we do

What B2B selling actually requires.

Tiered wholesale pricing

Retail, dealer, distributor, VIP, each seeing their own price, but only after they log in. Percentage tiers, fixed wholesale prices per product, and quantity breaks that apply automatically. Do it right and your dealers stop emailing to ask what they need to pay.

Wholesale registration and approval

An application form where buyers submit their EIN and resale certificate, and wait for approval before trade pricing unlocks. Your team gets the notification, the applicant gets the status, and nobody sees the wrong wholesale rates.

Purchase orders and net terms

Net 30, 60, or 90 for approved accounts. They check out without paying, the invoice generates, the due date tracks, and it all syncs to QuickBooks so your receivables aren’t living in someone’s inbox.

Minimum order quantities

Minimums per product, per cart, by order value, or by case and pack. And the message appears while they’re shopping, and not at checkout.

Quick order and bulk upload

A form where repeat buyers type SKUs and quantities, or upload a CSV, and never touch a product page. Your best customers already know what they want. Stop making them browse through more.

Trade account portal

Order history, multiple shipping addresses, reorder buttons, invoice downloads, credit limit, and their account manager’s name. Everything a buyer usually calls you about disappears before they call.

B2B plugins we use

Choosing the wrong plugin can cost you a rebuild.

No single plugin handles every B2B requirement. We select and configure the right combination for your specific business model:

PRICING

WooCommerce Wholesale Prices Premium or B2BKing for tiered pricing. Both handle role-based pricing and quantity rules well.

PAYMENT

WooCommerce Purchase Orders or YITH WooCommerce Request a Quote for net terms and PO-based checkout flows.

MOQ

WooCommerce Min/Max Quantities or custom development for complex pack/case rules specific to your product catalog.

QUICK ORDER

WooCommerce Fast Cart or a custom quick order form built specifically for your product SKU structure.

ACCOUNTING

WooCommerce QuickBooks Sync or Xero integration for syncing B2B orders and invoices to your accounting system.

Our process

What a B2B build looks like.

01

Scope

We map your customer tiers, pricing rules, payment terms, and any accounting or ERP systems the store has to talk to.

02

Fixed quote

You get a fixed price on a written scope, sized to your customer types and order workflows, before anything is built.

03

Build on staging

We configure the plugin stack, pricing visibility, registration and approval flows, and checkout rules on staging, and test them per customer role.

04

Launch and verify

We go live, verify wholesale and retail flows side by side, and stay available for anything that comes up after launch.

Common questions

WooCommerce B2B questions.

Yes. WooCommerce’s user role system combined with a wholesale pricing plugin allows you to show different prices to different customer types, hide retail prices from logged-in wholesale accounts, and even hide entire product categories from public (non-logged-in) visitors. The most common setup is with the retail prices visible to the public, wholesale prices visible only to approved trade accounts after login.

Yes. We configure a Purchase Order payment method in WooCommerce that allows approved trade accounts to check out by submitting a PO number, with payment due on net terms (30, 60, or 90 days, or whatever terms you extend). Your operations team receives the order and PO details, processes fulfillment, and manages the receivable outside of WooCommerce, or we integrate with your accounting system to track invoices and payment status. Credit limits per account and PO approval workflows are also configurable.

Yes, and this is the most common B2B WooCommerce setup we build. Retail customers shop and check out normally with standard pricing. Wholesale customers log in to see their trade prices and access B2B-specific features (quick order, PO checkout). The same product catalog serves both audiences with different pricing and checkout rules applied by user role. Some clients also separate the B2B checkout experience into a subdomain (trade.yourstore.com) while sharing the same WooCommerce backend.

It depends on the pricing rules, roles, and integrations you need, quoted as a fixed price after scoping. B2B stores are more involved than retail, and we size the quote to your customer types and order workflows.

We build a trade account portal with order history, multiple shipping addresses, reorder buttons, invoice downloads, their credit limit and their account manager’s name. Most of what a buyer would call you about, they can find there first.

No single plugin covers every B2B requirement, so we choose the combination for your business model. Typical picks are WooCommerce Wholesale Prices Premium or B2BKing for tiered pricing, WooCommerce Purchase Orders or YITH WooCommerce Request a Quote for net terms and PO checkout, WooCommerce Min/Max Quantities or custom code for pack and case rules, and QuickBooks Sync or Xero for accounting.

Yes. We can gate wholesale pricing and catalogs behind login, and add an application and approval flow, so only vetted B2B accounts see wholesale terms while retail stays open.

Yes. We add quantity-based pricing, order minimums, bulk order forms, and quick reorder, so B2B customers placing large or repeat orders can do it efficiently instead of clicking through a retail flow.

Yes. We connect WooCommerce to ERP, accounting, and inventory systems so orders, customers, stock, and pricing stay in sync, which matters more for B2B volume than for a small retail catalog.

On staging, one customer role at a time. We configure the plugin stack, price visibility, registration and approval flows and checkout rules there and test them per role. After go-live we check wholesale and retail side by side on the live store.
